Modular stacks let you right-size today and expand after an EV or pool pump changes your load profile. But not all 'stackable' claims are equal.
AC vs DC coupling
AC-coupled stacks are easier to retrofit behind existing solar. DC-coupled systems are more efficient but may require inverter upgrades.
Expansion limits
Check maximum stack height and busbar ratings before assuming infinite growth. Most residential systems top out at 30–40 kWh.
