EG4 WallMount Buyer’s Guide
Indoor vs All-Weather, 280Ah vs 314Ah, and which hybrid inverter pairs cleanly with EG4 WallMount packs.

Indoor vs All-Weather
Indoor WallMount packs are built for garage or mechanical-room installs. All-Weather / PowerPro-style outdoor packs add weather sealing for exterior walls — useful when indoor space is tight or code prefers outdoor ESS. Match the enclosure to your climate and AHJ rules.
280Ah vs 314Ah capacity
Both families sit near 48V. The 314Ah class stores more usable kWh per wall unit, so fewer packs can hit a multi-day backup target. The 280Ah / 14.3 kWh class is often cheaper per unit and still stacks for larger banks.
Inverter pairing
EG4 hybrids (18kPV, FlexBOSS18/21) are designed around WallMount cable sets and mounting brackets. Always confirm closed-loop BMS communication and UL9540 ESS listings for the exact battery + inverter combo before purchase.
